I started my secondary blog, Republican Spyglass, as a way to chronicle to foibles and outright anarchy that I thought would be Obama administration and, therefore, covered up by the MSM.

I want to thank those who helped out since 2008 and rest assured: the fight isn't over - I'll continue to blog until the voice of the Democratic Party becomes nothing more than an annoying squeak!

Its My Blogoversary!

Yes, gentle readers, six long years ago, I started experimenting with this thing called "weblogging." It was going to be my on-line stream-of-consciousness.

Incidentally, I started it just before the 2004 Presidential election and this "blog" quickly took on the role of conservative supporter to "W."

In the intervening years, we've seen our country go from a feared and respective world power down through the rise of the liberal apologist to its 2008 nadir of "The One" trying to "hopelessly change" our country into a Euro-Socialist banana republic.

Locally, Philadelphia's sports teams, notably the Phillies and Flyers, have climbed to national dominance in stark contrast to the city's headlong economic rush to bankruptcy and Detroit-like squalor.

I'm rapidly approaching 50,000 visitors, something uber-bloggers see in a week.

I've made quite a few friends along the way and even got to meet the humans behind the viewscreen, like Wyatt Earp and Captain America, as well as Alex C, Bill from WriteMarsh, Midnight Blue, Lisa from Bluftooni, Tony Phyrillas in all his iterations and the entire PAWaterCooler crew.

The 2010 election, and REJECTION of "The One's" policies, is just around the corner and, while my job and need to relocate out of Sillydelphia have monopolized my energies, I'll still be around for quite awhile making sure the Democratic Party NEVER gets another chance to run this country without first purging its ranks of every Marxist, Socialist and nutjob capable of bringing this country to its knees.

In the Public Editor column—where, Adrian Chen notes on Gawker, “Times overlords answer questions from normal idiot readers”—managing editor Jill Abramson took a moment to answer the question on everyone’s mind: “What exactly is a blog?” Well okay, perhaps it was just on one person’s mind.

That one person is a retired editor, who wondered, “Is a blog merely the private thoughts of the blogger? Or is a blog a short news story published online?” Abramson helpfully explained that blogs offer “important, up-to-the-minute developments,” real-time updates, and a “less formal structure,” leaving Chen to wonder what’s next for the Public Editor column. Perhaps “someone asking how airplanes stay up in the sky, or What's all this talk about women getting the vote?”

Somewhere in yesterday's sophmoric silliness, I surpassed the 40,000 hit mark. This was the fastest 10000 hits in the history of the Bitter American blog.

Obama Wins! (And I am Kicked Off the Blogosphere!)

Hopefully, you'll still be able to read this before Google's executioner takes a swipe at my neck!

Yesterday morning, I received an e-mail from Google, the parent company of Blogger (my blog's platform) stating that my blog was to be shutdown due to "violations" of their user policies.

To wit:

Friends, I can only surmise that my blog, along with those of other right-minded individuals, has been the target of a coordinated attack by Obamaphiles, Nutroots, Kos-mo-nuts and Huff-and-Puff adherents!

I'm going to try and save the HTML code to migrate over to another host, but in the meantime, continue the good fight, stop the Obamessiah before he shreds the First Amendment once and for all, and drop a few teabags in the Potomac for me!

Mr. Cheney’s assistant, Peter Long, said in a statement that Mr. Cheney, 69, was resting comfortably and that his doctors were evaluating the situation and found his heart to be "two sizes too small."
