Did I miss something, or is there something horribly askew about some major news stories this week?

First, a Muslim forces his way into a Jewish community center and opens fire, killing 1 and wounding several more. Hardly a blip on the MSM radar. The King County Sheriff's Office and DA are downplaying the shooter's religious background. Was the death toll not high enough to warrant more coverage??

Then, actor and director Mel Gibson, in an alcohol-fueled rage, unleashes a horrific and inexcusable anti-Semetic rant while being arrested for DUI. Now THIS story has legs! Everyone from Jewish talent agents to the ADL has weighed in on the topic. Rumors, innuendo and what-ifs abound on every news outlet.

Am I the only one who sees an serious imbalance here??
