More NBA Fallout (Good and Bad)

Well, reknowned pugilist, basketball player and aspiring rap star Ron Artest is going to get his pee-pee spanked for his Detroit hijinks.

But it looks like it may be too late to save the sport. Repercussions abound:

Latrell Sprewell, always an icon of proper manners (ask his former coaches) got nailed for verbally abusing a female fan (at least he had the sense not to punch HER lights out)!

And the trickle-down behaviour from icon to fan continues:

Here in Philly, a Public Schools League game was stopped in the first half when two players got overly physical and started a small melee.

God, I miss hockey. It was such a civilized sport.
