# 10 – THE BEATLES – Rubber Soul
# 9 – THE BEATLES – Revolver
# 8 – THE CLASH – London Calling
# 7 – U2 – The Joshua Tree
# 6 – THE BEATLES – The Beatles (White Album)
# 5 – BOB DYLAN – Blood On The Tracks
# 4 – BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN – Born To Run
# 3 – PINK FLOYD – Dark Side Of The Moon
# 2 – THE BEATLES – Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
# 1 - THE BEATLES - Abbey Road!!!!!!!!

TrekMedic Muses:

Wow! The Beatles listed 5 of the final 10! Cool!
Personally, Led Zepplin's Physical Graffiti or Allman Brothers' Live at the Fillmore could replace Bob Dylan on this list.
And if I hadf it my way, Sgt. Pepper would be ahead of Abbey Road by 1 place.
Why? Sgt. Pepper was the Beatles opus to a Victorian English propriety that was being displaced in the UK by the "mod" scene and a sea change took England in a totally different direction (not unlike the hippies here).

Anybody else agree/disagree with this list?

Wow, apparently someone is a Beatles fan...

No Stones?
No Zeppelin?

What gives?

Yeah. Way too much Beatles for me. Led Zeppelin needs to be there as does The Who's - Who's Next.

I often find these top-10 lists to be so blah. On any given 'Top Song' list, there will be 'Stairway to Heaven', yet as KateyKakes says Zep didn't place in the Top10.

The five Beatle albums were (at least IMHO) their very best, and while their impact will continue to influence artists down the line, it does seem to slant the list too much, thus the blah factor.

Don't get me wrong: The Beatles were my first love. They'll always be a soft spot for them in me.
