Live 8,....a few Thoughts!

So, Bob Geldof is doing his Bono impression this week.....Live Aid + 20 is returning to Philadelphia and the citizens are going nuts.

Medic's Musings:

• I was an EMT at the first Live Aid at JFK Stadium. (Yes, the TrekMedic is THAT old!)
• Am I the only one who sees the irony in this: Live 8, a concert designed to draw attention to the troubles of the Third World, is being hosted in a city who's government is run like a Third World country?
• Free concert along the Ben Franklin Parkway? When is was the Beach Boys, it rocked. A bunch of overly-rich has-beens won't.
• Fire works at Penn's Landing and THIS all in the same day? Can someone say "gridlock?"
  
• A free concert full of RAPPERS = RIOT!
