From the Forgotten History Files,...
Oprah called on President Obama's critics on Friday to show "a certain level of respect.”
"I feel that everybody has a learning curve, and I feel that the reason why I was willing to step out for him was because I believed in his integrity and I believed in his heart," the influential TV host said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” in Chicago.
Of the negative mood of the country, Oprah added, “I think everybody complaining ought to try it for once.”
She said the presidency is a position that “holds a sense of authority and governance over us all,” and that “even if you’re not in support of his policies, there needs to be a certain level of respect.”

Oprah is not referring to making "fun" of Obama, like was done to Bush, she is talking about the lack respect paid to him as the leader of our country. She is referring to the lack of respect of LEGITIMACY he gets especially from fox news. For example the "birthers".
Bush couldn't pronounce half the words he spoke, watch ANY speech he gave, it is a joke, he speaks like a third grader. Isn't public speaking an important part of being President and representing our country?
That's why people made "fun" of bush. Because he did not present himself well and often looked foolish.
If I recall bailouts and TARP were passed by Bush, not Obama. Obama and congress saved us from another great depression with the stimulus. 9% unemployment is bad, but 20% is a lot worse. Let's keep perspective. Our country isn't bankrupt, a ways off actually. Treasury bond rates are quite stable. If one is so concerned with deficits, raise taxes, close corporate loopholes, and raise the retirement age to start.
And Bush has let more terrorists attack happen to us than Obama if we are keeping score.
