Liberal Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) described the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) as an organization "which we know has ties to terrorism." Despite this, Allyson Schwartz received a 100% rating for being supportive to their cause.

Five CAIR employees and board members have been arrested, convicted, deported, or otherwise linked to terrorism-related charges and activities. This is why Congressmen Jim Gerlach and Michael Fitzpatrick received a 0% rating.
