"W" has nominated Judge John G. Roberts (bio) to fill the shoes of outgoing Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.

The TrekMedic's first impressions:

• NARAL, the Alliance for Justice, and Sens. Ted Kennedy (D-Runk) and Chuck Schumer (D-Ick) are lining up against him,...so I already like Roberts a lot.
• Speaking to gin-soaked Teddy,..who the f**k is he to DEMAND the Judge Roberts explain his views on Roe v Wade and whether he will side for the common man or big business?
• Who does Schumer (Hillary's bitch) think HE is by pre-supposing questions for the next nominee??
  
• This defines irony: Roberts' wife is very active in the anti-abortion movement. OK? Are the Democrats, the paragons of womens' rights in the home and workplace, going to make Judge Roberts account for his wife's actions??

OK,..time for Senator Arlen Specter to step up and go to bat for "W" on this one!!
