Eavesdropping on Our Future,...
So it happened today that the Bitter American happened into one of the two Borders Bookstores located in the Obama Socialist Republic of Merion.
As I was perusing the magazine racks, I noticed a woman and her two children working their way down towards me.
One of the children was reminiscing about something (slightly out of my earshot) and mentioned that it happened on "CHRISTmas Eve." The child's mother replied "you mean December 24th, dear."
The child repeated "CHRISTmas Eve." This time, the mother said "You SHOULD remember to just say December 24th."
I wonder if she gets any gifts on December 25th? Or any day other than her birthday,...
(Sigh,...)

I thought about that and discounted it. Even amongst my more observant Jewish friends, December 24th is CHRISTmas Eve. They may not celebrate it, but they acknowledge the date as much as they wouls acknowledge Juy 4th as a holiday. I'm thinking this was another athiest/socialist-in-the-making.
How nerdly and snotty. And yes, even my Jewish friends say Christmas Eve and wish me a Merry Christmas.
