Endorsing Raj Bhakta (US PA-13)
Whereas, U.S. Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz, PA-13, carpetbagged her way from her former seat as Pennsylvania State Senator for the 4th District, an area largely encompassing the northwest of Philadelphia (a far cry from her riding of the US 13th District, which encompasses Northeast Philadelphia and a large section of eastern Montgomery County), thus keeping the seat in Democratic hands in succession from former Congressman Joe Hoeffel, and
Whereas, Mrs. Schwartz' campaign site seems to lack any issues or news items, other than parroting anti-Bhakta parasite, Tom Ferrick's screed against Raj (which was challenged by Raj Bhakta) and,
Whereas, Congresswomen Schwartz appears to have no stand on our National Security, nor a way to address the astronomical and appalling murder rate in Philadelphia, and
Whereas, the Democratic National Convention has made a stand in Connecticut that is will not tolerate internal dissent against its weak, anti-war, anti-homeland security, anti-life platform at the expense of senior leadership and veteran legislative experience and,
Whereas, Congresswomen Schwartz, feeling to need to sling the first handful of mud, used "anonymous sources" to lay a false claim against Raj Bhakta regarding an ALLEGED name-calling incident, and
Whereas, Raj Bhakta outlines "10 Reasons to Vote for Raj", chief among them being:
- Protecting the Homeland - September 11, 2001 changed our lives forever. Protecting America and preventing another terrorist attack should be our highest national priority. I will always vote to make sure that our police, firefighters, and other first responders have all the tools they need to keep America safe.
- National Security - We as Americans owe our gratitude to those who serve in our military. Many say that they "support the troops." We must back up those words with action. I will ALWAYS vote to make sure our servicemen and women have the tools they need to keep themselves safe when they are in harm's way. I will NEVER vote to cut off funding for our armed forces when they are serving in battle.
Whereas, Raj Bhakta supports groups such as the Boy Scouts, who are being singled out and evicted by Philadelphia's Democratic Mayor, John Street, in a time when this city needs moral guidance, and,
Whereas, Raj Bhakta believes "At the most basic level, the government must be able to make us safe," and Bhakta explained that at the federal level he could do to things to fight crime in the Northeast-provide funding for a larger police force and for new prisons to be built.

What is the Red November Initiative? Contact me on my site, as a supporter of Bhakta I would be interested in helping other candidates.
