The ACLU is Two-Faced!
Mais, non! That can't be!
Giving a hat-tip to the gents at Conservative Angst for this one:
LAW OF THE LAND
ACLU caught red-handed?
Changes view of precedent when it favors Christian group
I'm not going to republish this one, just give a brief review. Let's just say it gives yet another reason to call them the Anti-Christian Lovers Union!
Apparently, when a Washington State high school tried to stop a GLBT club from forming, the ACLU chimed in on the side of the gays, stating the case "makes it clear that student clubs promoting tolerance for gay students are entitles to the same resources as other clubs."
Now, comes Kentridge HS of Kent, Washington. They wish to form the Truth Bible Club and the school board has rejected the formation, stating the club name is "offensive."
Think the ACLU is going to jump in and apply the same policy as the Washington GLBT clubs?
BZZZZ! Nope!
In fact, the ACLU has filed an amicus brief in favor of the school board. Apparently, now that the same ruling can be applied to a conservative-base club, the ACLU wants the original ruling (Prince v. Jacoby) reversed.
The ACLU insists Prince should be overruled to avoid giving Truth any benefits beyond the right to meet on campus.
Like I said,..the ACLU is two-faced? Mais,..oui!

What a despicable pack of vermin.
And this surprises you, TrekMed? heh heh....
This shouldn't be much of a revelation. Afterall, in the past we have their track record in front of us to judge their attitudes. ACLU provides free representation to NAMBLA, screaming "first amendment" rights to incite pedophilia. And of course, the most despicable, their activism on behalf of terrorists (Gitmo especially), insuring they have their day in federal courts. Foreigners who are Stateless warriors, being held on foreign soil, captured on a foreign battlefield trying to kill our guys.
Feh...
Great post! We will have to put up something about this over at HQ!
Great job guys!
What a pack of hypocrites they are... pretty much accomplishing exactly the opposite of what they want to, right? Making everyone argue, fostering disunity. ugh!
trekmedic, you read Charlie over at http://whatsit2you.blogspot.com/, right?
